I will say, if you want enjoy a vacation then Andaman Islands should be your pick. Lakshadweep has a lot to catch up with though they have tremendous potential as well. Andaman islands offers plethora of experiences you know. You get amazing food, resorts, activities (Scuba Diving, Sea Walk, Snorkeling and many others to be honest). See, after coming to the islands you will actually get a complete feel of a vacation. Mind it, just don’t come to the islands for just 3–4 Nights its too less time to visit Andaman.
Whereas, Andaman Nicobar Islands is a group of Islands in Bay of Bengal. It's capital city is Port Blair. Home to indigenous tribes like Jarawas, Andamans also houses a variety of Flora & Fauna like no other place in the world. Since Indian independence in 1947, the GOI has taken various efforts and steps to make these Islands suitable for settlement, since then Port Blair is the capital city which has a Domestic Airport with Air India, Jet Airways, Go Air & Spicejet operating regular flights to New Delhi, Chennai & Kolkata directly. 90 percent of the total employed with Government leaving rest dependent on some private firms like Ellon Hinengo Limited. Surprisingly India's only Sea planeventure can be experienced here which is Seasonal and do not operate mostly due to shortage of aviators. Andamans receives half a million tourists every year from around the world. International Cruises arrive here often for immigration of foreign nationals wishing to experience Andamans
